You enter through a wide corridor which leads to the majestic Empire staircase. This same hallway continues along the front of the property to the large arched glass door. On either side, large rooms, a living room with a magnificent French parquet floor, mouldings, and lots of light due to the full height windows. To the left is the dining room (fireplace insert, large window, cement tile floor) or second living room as you will see that the kitchen is spacious enough for a comfortable lunch with family or friends. This one is slightly set back because in the old days, it was the "staff" who were at work and who had to remain discreetly at the service of the masters. Moreover, it was by a staircase hidden in a cupboard that the servants went to the second floor, a vast attic where we can still see two dressing rooms. Still in the kitchen, there was a chimney whose flue needs to be checked. The terracotta floor is superb. The small cellar houses the boiler and the tank. Let's go back on our steps to go to the first floor by this incredible staircase, wide steps which give to your ascent a particular rhythm, and always this light. On the landing, on the garden side, the first two bedrooms on either side of the same corridor as the one on the ground floor. You can imagine their surface area! very nice floors and for each one, an associated shower room. Then 4 other bedrooms and several shower rooms or at least water points. Several entrances, several possibilities. And finally, the attic in very good condition where one could probably imagine the creation of separate flats.
It is no exaggeration to say that we are looking at a property that has become rare in Rabastens.
