A pretty farmstead in a very private setting with 8.5 acres

In a secluded setting with beautiful views only 5 minutes from the village, this small farmhouse is set in 3.44 ha of pastureland, with the farm and the buildings in the centre of the grounds accessible via a private driveway.  There are currently 2 bedrooms but this is also a major project to convert into a superb property using the summer kitchen and attached barn.

This is a great opportunity to take on this property and put your own stamp on it whilst benefitting from the privacy and views.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  This is not a property where a lick of paint and a small amount of DIY will resolve the issues.  You must be prepared to have a decent budget on top of the purchase price to undertake the works to the structure which will include:. re-roofing, new septic tank. taking down the end wall of the barn and rebuilding it the interior of which still has the original mangers, creation of new internal stairs, new kitchen in the 'summer kitchen area', reorganisation of the interior accommodation and other works.  The virtual tour is essential viewing and please contact Guy Sherratt on 06.37.27.19.33 to discuss the works in further detail.  At the end, you will have a stunning property in a really lovely location surrounded by your land with lovely unspolit views and no near neighbours.  The setting of the buildings in the land is one of the major features of this property.

Our opinion

What a great opportunity to buy a farmstead, part of which is in its original condition, wth 8.5 acres of land in a very private settting. Huge potential but be prepared for a lot of work. THE PRICE HAS JUST BEEN REDUCED FROM 190,000 TO 145,000 EUROS INCLUDING AGENCY FEES. The setting for this property is amazing but it is very important to understand that there is a huge amount of work to undertake to include the reroofing and insulation of the house and buildings, a new septic tank as well the rebuildings of part of the walls of the adjoining barn due to some subsidence on the south facing side of the barn. The interior could also be reorganised. When the works are finished, you will have a lovely property in an amazing setting.
